Asia

Home to some of the world's greatest wildlife, from Bengal tigers and clouded leopards to one of our closest relatives, the orangutan, Asia offers so much. Trips here combine fantastic wildlife with ancient cultures and the ruins of former civilisations, such as Angkor Wat.

The wildlife is extremely diverse, with some bizarre creatures to discover: gliding frogs and snakes, the bear-like binturong, a tree-climbing civet, and the world's longest snake, reticulated python.

Borneo is a wildlife lover's paradise. We take you into the rainforest to find orangutans, proboscis monkeys and, with luck, some very elusive cats: leopard cat, marbled cat and, perhaps even, clouded leopard; not to mention the Bornean pygmy elephant, which has recently been described as a separate species from Asian elephant.
